Like an elephant destroy the lotus pond of my woes. The king elephant prayed from deep waters, his feet dragged by a crocodile

You killed the crocodile by your divine disc and saved him.

O Blue Mountain… In the dense forest the doe was in excruciating pain

You saved her from such an accident.

O Blue Mountain… You heard Draupadi praying at the Kuru royal court

Offering her an endless sari, you saved her modesty.

O Blue Mountain… Ravana’s brother Bibhisana came to your shelter.

You ensured his safety and made him the king of Lanka. O Blue Mountain…

Prahallada’s father was wicked and cruel,

You emerged out of a pillar and tore him apart.

O Blue Mountain…

Thus spake Salabega, a Muslim I am,

I offer my earnest prayer at your divine feet.
